I Just Launched My First Embroidery Pattern & Tutorial!

Trust me, Done is better than Perfect

I launched my first embroidery pattern on Etsy this week, and the next morning I woke up to my very first digital sale (Yay!!)

Friends, I made money… in my sleep! I immediately wondered why it took me so long to try this? The answer = Perfectionism.

Now, don’t get me wrong, this all took a lot of effort. Creating my own embroidery design, designing a PDF pattern and filming/editing a video tutorial took me over a month to create. I worked so hard on this every day after work, and through the weekends. But even if I never made a single sale, the joy of finally finishing a big goal is the WIN.

I included the motto “trust me, done is better than perfect” in this pattern because it helped me get past perfectionism.

I designed this embroidery pattern with perfectionists in mind. If you don’t feel talented so you never try anything artistic, if you’ve never embroidered before in fear of learning something hard, or if you' tend to begin and never finish a project… I invite YOU to embroider this rainbow sampler with me. This design embraces imperfect stitches. In the video tutorial I walk you through 9 stitches and techniques in this pattern so you can finish it and feel confident in this craft. You can do this!

Embroidery is a wonderful hobby that I really love, and I wanted to break it down, simplify it and share it with YOU!
